We don't buy fancy packaging, so we don't charge you for it. Everything is cheap — the stuff and the way it gets to you.

  • You pay the postage

    Postage and packaging is added at checkout and paid by you. That's how we keep the prices on the shelf daft-cheap.

  • Second-hand boxes, always

    Your order turns up in a box that has been round the block, or a random bag saved from eBay. None of our boxes are ever brand new.

  • Reused & recycled

    Old labels, odd tape, a bit of character. Every bit of packaging gets another go before it hits the bin.

  • Packed with care

    The box might be old, but we'll protect your products as much as we can. Scrunched paper, reused bubble wrap, whatever keeps it safe on the way to you.

Is everything really £1?

Yes. Every item on the everyday shelf is £1 — black bags, bin liners, toilet rolls, batteries, shower hoses, tea towels, dusters and more. The only exceptions are one-off items in Clearance Corner, which are priced individually and are still bargains.

Do you deliver across the UK?

Yes, we post household essentials to addresses across the UK. Postage is calculated at checkout from your postcode and the size of your order, and is paid by you — that is how we keep everything on the shelf at £1.

Why does my order arrive in a used box?

We never buy new packaging. Orders go out in second-hand boxes and reused mailer bags, packed with reused paper and bubble wrap. It keeps costs down and keeps packaging out of landfill.

What is Clearance Corner?

Clearance Corner is one-off stock we have bought cheap and pass straight on to you. Quantities are limited and once an item sells out it is gone for good.
